How we pick.

150 tools in 18 drawers. Nub keeps what works for creators and erases the rest. Here is how, and how the site pays for itself.

Nub, the toolforcreators eraser
  1. 01

    One job, one drawer

Every tool sits in the drawer for the job it does best. We only compare tools that do the same job, so a newsletter platform never ends up against a video editor.

  2. 02

    Built for creators

A tool is listed when it is a real option for a real kind of creator: a solo YouTuber, a podcaster, a newsletter writer, a course seller. Enterprise suites and abandoned apps are left out.

  3. 03

What it does, in plain words

For each tool we write who it is best for, how it charges, what it does well and where Nub hesitates. We describe pricing models instead of printing prices that change every month.

  4. 04

    Kept up to date

Tools change. When a free plan disappears, a feature ships or a company shuts down, the page changes too. Spotted something wrong? Write to us and we fix it.

How we make money

Some links are affiliate links. If you click one and later pay for the tool, the company may pay us a commission.

Same price for you
An affiliate link never costs you more. You get the same plan, trial or free tier as anyone else.
Commissions don’t pick
Tools without an affiliate programme are listed exactly like the ones with one, in the same order and the same words.
Every link is labelled
Affiliate links carry rel="sponsored" and go through a /go/ address on this site, so you can see where a link leads.
No coupon pages
We don’t publish promo-code pages and we never bid on a tool’s brand name in ads.
